Boy With Big Feet

My shoe size: 7.5.
Joey’s shoe size: Same thing.
My age: 39
Joey’s age: 8.
Joey’s size is not a huge shock to anyone who has known the boy since he was born. I mean, he did come barreling out of my body weighing 10 pounds/9 ounces, he weighed 22 pounds by the age of 6 months and he is now nearing the 5-foot mark. All kids grow up too fast. I know that. But why does my guy have to grow up so fast?

Wow, I know what you mean. Boys and girls grow up so fast anymore. I fall on the other end of the spectrum. I am a 40-year old man and I have tiny feet. I usually wear a size 4 – 4 1/2 wide in boys. I buy all my shoes in the boys section. Your Joey actually has bigger feet than me. It is not the first time I have heard of or met other kids with bigger feet and even younger than Joey. There was even a 5-year old who wore a size 5.5 youth. Give me a break!!! I mean a 5-year old! with bigger feet! My nephews outgrew me around the same age as Joey. I guess be thankful that he doesn’t have tiny feet like mine. Being an adult and trying to find manly looking shoes in a size 4 – 4 1/2 is easy. Most of the shoes look boyish. Anyway, lol.
